Miami Christian School - Small private Christian school located at 200 NW 109th Avenue, Miami, FL, 33172.

Position Description:

Currently seeking IT help desk technicians for a paid internship at Miami Christian School located down 109th avenue, less than a mile from FIU University Park campus. Would like to bring on students from FIU (or other schools) with part time and ‘on call’ hours. The position is paid and hours will be convenient and flexible.

Qualifications:

Technical background and work experience encouraged but not required.

Position Duties:

The goal of this internship is to provide “real world” IT experience to learn and apply skills in the management of network and computer hardware, projector and classroom equipment, software (Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware ESXi Cloud, etc), security camera systems, VoIP phones, WiFi access points, and more.

Duties include general computer and network troubleshooting, maintaining/monitoring instructor and staff technology, installation of new systems and software, and all other basic needs experienced in a school and office environment.
