The Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine is currently seeking a Clinical IT Field Analyst II to join our team of professionals.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and three (3) years of IT experience, OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Position Duties:· Provides overall classroom AV and technology support to ensure systems and equipment are functioning at an optimal level.
· Provides faculty support in the classroom in effort to help facilitate teaching and learning, leveraging technologies involving setup and training on the use of the tools.
· Performs computing equipment (desktop, laptop, peripherals, etc.) setup and deployment at local and remote sites. Performs setup and operations of sound and multimedia systems for events.
· Responsible for course material administration related to CanvasMed and lecture capture system (Panopto) based on established procedure and service level agreement; edits course capture video and publishes to the end users within established timeframe. Reviews and remediates course content in CanvasMed to improve accessibility issues. Collaborates with faculty to improve Ally accessibility scores.
· Troubleshoots, installs, upgrades, maintains and repairs computing equipment hardware and software issues, including connectivity problems; leverages computer Operating System (OS) and application management system (i.e. SCCM and Jamf)
· Administers and configures Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) to create, modify, test, and deploy software packages, software updates/patches and task sequences to endpoints.
· Works with ticketing system to create, track, manage, and report on help desk tickets based on established time frame.
· Performs application support, testing, and troubleshooting for assessment applications (i.e Examplify, Respondus, etc.), Zoom and other application plugins; Provides IT support during quizzes and exams.
· Communicates with end users to identify, explain, and resolve issues; organizes work based on established priorities with little to no supervision; escalates issues as appropriate for timely resolution.
· Works off hours as needed to maintain AV systems uptime and operational continuity. Remains on call and available after hours to provide support, if needed.
· Responsible for setting up assessment rooms, testing equipment, and monitoring student performance to help maintain the security of assessments. Proctors quizzes and other assessments, as assigned.
· Works with consultants and vendors for escalated troubleshooting efforts and parts replacements.
· Performs essential duties in any emergencies such as hurricanes, public health emergencies, and/or any other university emergency closing. The employee is expected to be available to report to work as needed during university emergency closing with appropriate notification of a department administrator.
· Performs related duties as required or as directed. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.
