Position Description:

Job Description

This position executes the Information Technology operations for FirstService Residential in order to support our employees and Business Units as they provide service to our clients. 20 hours per week.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains a high level of customer service in responding to escalated help desk calls.
  • Responsible for maintaining, supporting, troubleshooting, and installation of all laptop, desktop, server and networking systems.
  • Builds, installs and delivers new PCs, IP Phones and Laptop devices to end users
  • Creation, removal and changing of Accounts including Active Directory, Email, Phone systems, Software Platforms, and tools
  • Troubleshoots and maintains printers, scanners, and associates reporting tools
  • Participates in the maintenance, support, troubleshooting, and installation of all server, desktop, and networking systems.
  • Assists in the daily maintenance of our network servers and related applications and services including, Exchange Server, Internet Information Server, WINS, all Windows Server generations and workstations, Backup Exec, Faxcore, Microsoft Endpoint, HP JET Admin, TCP/IP
  • Maintain, monitor and support all networking equipment including NIC configuration, switches, routers, and cabling (level 1).
  • Monitor and respond to all network security and virus threats.
    Works together with IT leadership on strategies to effect and implement new company procedures, policy changes, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS / DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES

  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook). MOS Certification Preferred.

Salary: $10.00 /hour
