We are seeking a Junior Web Developer/Webmaster responsible for front-end website management. This position requires a basic programming skill level, in web programming languages like PHP, HTML5 and CSS3, and a sense of web design aesthetics, including element arrangements, and the use of design tools like Photoshop. The ideal candidate will have WordPress experience and an understanding of industry trends are adequate to start. Experience with the responsive and adaptive design is a plus.
Qualifications:Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5 and CSS3
Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
Experience designing and developing responsive design websites with WordPress CMS
Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browser
Position Duties:
Working with end-users to create new WordPress websites.
Maintaining existing WordPress websites, this includes editing content, applying or updating themes.
Designing and implementing new features and functionalities with a range of plugins/tools that fit needs of users
Taking direction from WebMaster on various projects with strong attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to respond quickly to various requests from users and organize them according to priority
